Hello I'm Laura and I'm absolutely mad about macarons! Over the years, I've tried macarons from everywhere and anywhere, always searching for that perfect bite. When lockdown arrived and my usual macaron sources became unavailable, I decided to try making them myself. By chance, I discovered some almond flour in my cupboard that seemed like a sign, and to my amazement, my first batch turned out pretty good.

It all started a few years ago when I was doing markets every weekend alongside my full time job. Fast forward to 2024, and I finally took the leap - left my job and made macarons my full time gig! This decision was not for the faint hearted, let me tell you, it has been blood, sweat and many tears, but I absolutely love it and it's been incredibly rewarding. Every macaron I create is carefully handmade in small batches using the traditional French method. I believe in quality over quantity, taking the time to ensure each batch meets my high standards. You'll find me at local markets and food festivals most weeks, where I love connecting with my customers and sharing my passion for these delicate French treats.

When I'm not in the kitchen perfecting new flavours, I enjoy spending time at the park with my dog Ludo, or coming up with new projects to keep John busy around the house. My mission is simple - to make exceptional macarons accessible to everyone. While macarons are often seen as luxury items, I believe that high-quality treats shouldn't be out of reach for those who want to enjoy something special. Well, I've waffled on for some time now, which isn't unlike me LOL! Feel free to come by and say hi when you see me and always ask for a wee sample!
